Does the G stand for Germany?

You mean the band will crash and burn and Lockheed bribes are somehow behind all this?

Who wants to be thought of as a G-1 or, alas!, a Grabber?
Or worse, the distant cousin (Jack) The Ripper...

Back to the band for a minute. They played here last night as part of a multi-band bill. The paper's music critic said they "served up sticky bubblegum pop with a snotty attitude, whiney vocals and catchy if simpleton choruses." I guess that's what sells.  :-\

I'm so happy we didn't have "snotty attitude, whiney vocals and catchy if simpleton choruses" back in the day.

Not nearly snotty enough...

My folks were never upset about rock and roll, except that my mom just couldn't stand Little Richard. "He sings like a woman!"

When I got a little older, I figured it out and assured my mom that there was not likely to ever be a Little Richard Junior.

Whether or not you like Little Richard, his music was genuine. I can't say the same for Hot Chelle Rae.

There would have been an even smarmier "Sir Paul" without him.  Not to mention more silly little love songs on the ebony and ivories.

Rob

Is that an EB2 in Little Richard's band?  Off screen to the right at first.
