Wow.  Schaumburg.  My dad would probably have known that school.  He was principal of Schaumburg High School.

WHAT?!?! Wow, I went to Conant just a few miles away. Had a lot of friends in the class of 80-84 range that went to Schaumburg though. Come to think of it - we had a perv principle! Forgot about that. I think he let some runaway teenage boy stay at his place for a while, among other things. Oh, and the Nuge went to Conant briefly too...

You mean Carl Zdeb (sp?)?  The Nuge couldn't have gone to Conant.  It wasn't even built yet, as I recall.  He graduated from St. Viator in Arlington Hts. in '64.

I believe it was Mr. Butler. Yes, only 1 "t".  ;) MIGHT have been assistant principle. That was a long time ago!

St. Viator, huh? I'd always heard he went to Conant but was kicked out or something. Could be urban legend.

For some reason I read that as "St. Violator"....

Yup.  His mom lived right near Fremd High School in Palatine.  She worked around the corner from my house at a dry cleaners.  She even came to my wedding.
