Although the Flying V is initially planned to come out in cherry with white pg this year, my Gibson contact tells me they are considering other colors for next year and would like some ideas ...

I'm unable to vote due to the lack of the one finish I'd like to see on a Flying V: natural mahogany with white pg.

Hah, I see my suggestion has 36% of the votes thus far. Perhaps I should work for Gibson and improve their bass offerings.

I want to change my vote to Denis's suggestion. Natural hog is too cool (and sadly, probably too expensive for Gibson.)

I voted for creme, silverburst and midnight blue, all with black pickguards. Not that I think any of this will happen.

Hey...Why wasn't White Limba (Korina) listed????? With either a B/W/B or Parchment/Black/Pachment pickguard??

ALL Gibsons should be available in cherry.  ;D

Natural would have a cool 50s vibe, though korina would be better.

Silverburst is cool. A guy I used to play with had a '78 V (guitar) in that finish.

I miss my 1966-67 Guild Jet stars Terribly. Liked them ALMOST more than a Thunderbird.
