I know everybody hates Coro's, but there's one on eBay in Ice Blue Metallic and it's drop-dead gorgeous to the point that I don't really care how it sounds/plays/dives (yes I know).

Plus TONS of great pics. No affil.

I sold mine (sunburst) for about $800 about six years ago. I wouldn't pay that much again no matter what the color. Still, that finish looks great.

It's priced high enough that I'm immune....but it's lovely.

Edit: sold about $3600.

Makes me think of Danny Partridge that that alone puts me off.

I don't hate Coros, I just think their headstocks don't match with that kinda body. This one has a great color thru!

I never had a chance to play a Coronado. What is the reason why the Coronado plays so bad? How does it compare to Gibson EB-2 or DeArmond Starfire? I have both and am quite satisfied of both.
I am really tempted by the red one, and the price is quite reasonable ;)

They have a very thin and weak tone and feed back ferociously even at low volume. They're nice to look at, but I've never met a single fan of their sound.

I have. Little Jack Lawrence with the Greenhornes. He played that Coronado I for years. But I haven't seen him use it in the Raconteurs.
