Back in a band

After 2 years off, I'm back in a band. a drummer friend asked me to audition and it went really well last week. I'm gonna play Thunderbirds mostly as it's good old R and R and blues. I'm excited about playing again. These guys are actually more talented than the old gang. More on this as things progress!

Thanks so much guys! I've really missed playing, but I didn't miss the old drama. The new group is pretty stable and the best part is the lead guitar player owns multiple businesses and has a really nice practice hall set up in one of them. So, so lugging equipment or keeping a spouse/kids up at night while practicing. This is really gonna be great!

Thanks Scott! I owe you one anyway. I'll have to get my raingear ready though when I do come out to see you guys!!!

I think we'll do our first gig at a bar the lead guitar player owns for an "invitation only" party around Halloween. I should be able to invite some folks. I'll keep you posted. How good is that? Owning a bar and having a band? Doesn't get much better!!!

I hear ya! The practice area was once an office for a business, so it's carpeted, has lots of windows, a restroom and total freedom to play as loud as we like, it's heavenly for sure!
