But thru the good offices of Herr Hornug I got to try the shorty T Bird - I'm just not a short scale kind of girl

The HOG has one sunburst but Uwe wants a gold top, still waiting on that one.

Sehr schön, jawohl. I liked those from the moment I first saw them even though I'm no doublecut/Junior diehard. "Plain Jane" shape to me, but I guess the simplicity of the design makes it appealing to others.

No shipping before you've gigged it! And a sonic report of course. But don't play Zeppelin tracks with it, please. Spoils the instrument.

The color looks great in real life, I've only taken it out of the case for a few seconds as I am on a business trip but the neck felt neither baseballbattish nor thin, just right.

Yeah it's in one piece! I would agree with Uwe the neck has a little beef to it but not awkward or uncomfortable. Felt like a '65 EB3 I used to have. By comparison Bill your '67 EBO should have a thinner neck.

Yeah, the neck on the EB-0 is perfect for me. I'm gonna polish it up as soon as I have time and take it to practice.
