What Ric? That's Rob playing the spalted Tele. But no more of the spalted tops are available. Maybe the Czechs ran out of diseased wood.  ;)

They do them Dave. The ones I have tested were fine bass guitars. Soundwise they reminded me (very much) of an Epi Tbird. But with a set neck.

And yes they have run out of fungus wood.
In december they will re-introduce the spalted maple topped instruments.

I was asking b/c there was no mention of a Rick in this thread, didn't look at their website.

If I were in the market, I'd prefer the solid alder to the spalted top, though I can imagine the latter will sell better.
