Schecter Ultra Bass, $699 street price new.

With the horn and cutaway of a Tele and the lower body curve of a J, it sure captures the angular looks of a T-bird.

Different headstock than the Ultra. Tuners on the bottom as well, plus spiffy added upper pg. Definitely a WTF!

AFAIK it's just an earlier version of the Ultra. As always, I could be wrong.

I think Dave is correct about it being an early version. They have an even uglier headstock now.

I kinda like it. A cross between a T-bird and a Jet King.

But, contrary to doctrine here, to me T-birds are not special. (With apologies to those who are True Believers.)
