An extremely strange list. There are no '60s Fender Jazz or P basses on the list at all. Even a sunburst mid '60s Fender bass would be worth more than some of the basses on the list.

Yeah, but like I said, no mid '60s Fenders.

I think the list is  a bit bogus/redundant in that it lists TBird IV and II in reverse AND non-reverse as FOUR different separate items. Also with the EB-6 listed twice, in it's two incarnations (solid/hollow.) Same with the EB-0 and EB-3 separate listings. Same with Ric 4000 & 4001....and a Ric 4005 AND 4005 Lightshow version?

I think the writer could have grouped those together and added a few others to the list, with a little more homework.

Plus, I believe a Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass is up there dollar-wise with an EB-2....especially one in a burst or custom color.

He lists a Zemaitis acoustic but not an electric?

I've also seen a few early 4-digit Hamer Standard Basses (Explorer shaped with binding,) some Veillette-Citrons, Travis Beans, 60s Epi Embassy, Gibby EB650 go for WELL above that Hofner 500/1 price range as Bass #25. Acoustically, maybe an Ernie Ball Earthwood should be included.

Also...the story should have also included ORIGINAL PRICES of ALL the models, to give a better idea of how much some have gone up in value. I think the Alembics might lose a little luster on that end.
