Built by Scotty Bevilacqua, the company used to be HB guitars. I've known Graham Henman since the mid '80s. He directs commercials, this is a side project. He's now working with Rick Turner on the new stuff. Graham and his wife did the design of the bass with Scotty and all the hardware and other bits were custom pieces. I played one in '07. It looked, played and sounded great. Those are EMG Hz passive pups. The neck has a unique truss rod system.
The new bass is called "Rolla" and is shown as a prototype on the site...with Darkstars.
http://www.henmanguitars.com/index.php/sitepages/main/category/instruments/I think it is a bit more mainstream. Bridge is now a hipshot. The original bass had a lot of features from the Ibanez CS ATK (900?) that Scotty worked on, including the bridge (not a 2TEK) and trussrod system.
