Anyone tried Titanium hardware?

Anyone tried any of this Titanium hardware? I climbed mountains for 10 or so years and loved using titanium ice screws (back when they were a new thing) but I have no idea how this metal affects tone on an instrument.

Big claims:

Here's what you can achieve with Titanium Saddles and Bridges:
- Increased sensitivity and stability are very apparent
- Vibration and sustain have been taken to the limit
- The notes are more focused and the intonation is purer
- The harshness was taken away and became clear
- String-to-string definition and clarity improved dramatically

There was a buzz about these at the Tele Forum in the mid-00s, but those who swap saddles on their Teles don't talk about them much now, there are other more popular choices.

The whole site smells of snake oil. For a given bridge design, you can't increase sustain and resonance at the same time. Less mass means less sustain, not more. The sound graphs are suspect, they don't give any details about how it was done or even what kind of guitar, they says it's titanium vs. steel then the smaller print says it's titanium vs. zinc die-cast. The review at 300Guitars sounds more like a wine review by a cork sniffer.

OTOH they might sound better to your ears. Like the Badass bridges, if you ignore their ridiculous hype about "special tone transfer metal" you still might like the sound of the bridge better.

Maybe Plutonium would be the next step on instrument hardware.
