Hi to all you Outposters.

Just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that I'm still around.

I do pop in a couple of times a week, just to see what you are all up to
but haven't really made any contributions.
So, with my hand operation just around the corner. . . . . I thought I had
better write a few words while I can still type at a reasonable speed.

Had to cancel some gigs (Oh No!!) one of which we have been looking forward
to for ages - Outdoor thing in a Marquee at a local Steam Rally.

They have been very good about it and want us to come back next year.

For those not in the UK. . . . most of us seem facinated by steam.

Anyway, I'll be out of playing action for 4 - 6 weeks, they say and typing
with only one one hand will probably edn up lokin smthng lik ths!!

I am still keep up with my blog and am now trying to arrange a get together
with Peter Cook and all the owners I've found.

Thanks Eric. Best of luck with your hand operation, don't try to rush your recovery.

A meeting with Peter Cook and owners would be great, it would show Peter how much he's appreciated by the people who know his work.

ok, i've only been away for a few days and someone has stolen kenny. buff?
what happened?

as you can probably guess,this is typed with my right hand!!

the op went well, i can move all of my fingers and the feeling in my little finger,
which was numb, is almost back to 100%
stitches out in 8 days and then we'll see what happens.

so, can someone explain the buff thing???

This subtlety thing...

My site name has varied over time to match my point of view... for a while it was Kenny Five-O, until recently it was Kenny's 51st State (my view of the UK), now it has reference to what the acronym depicts, not what it means...

Should be easy enough to grasp the thread now...

What did you do to yourself to need the mods...?
