Never saw one before. First guy who says "if only chrome hardware" or something otherwise silly gets ousted!  :mrgreen:

 I don't understand why Gibson doesn't offer 'Birds this way stock.......Friccken gorgeous, )even with black hardware) chrome would be simply perfect.

They did with the Studio series & much like most Gibson bass attempts - did not last long.

Our general schism aside, but don't even you chrome- and nickel-blinded folks think that in this case a red/black combination looks better? Except for the pg, I prefer that in white.

Uwe, I think this way naturally, which is why people have been recommending the legal profession as a suitable line of work for me since I was 11 years old.  ;D

Edit to add: And I'll take one with chrome and the white PG!

I like the black hardware and white pickguard on this better than the chrome hardware and black guard on the bass in George's picture. And I love this trans red color. It really should be a standard color option.
