Thru my GK it was pretty nice, I played (very carefully!) at a TNH rehearsal and it did fine, I did not get to run it thru the Traynor with the band tho, and in general I don't care for 2 pup basses thru it, whereas my BaCH's and Lull kill thru tubes........

The SS Thunderbird is not a bad bass and certainly good bang for the buck (for Gibson) After playing it live I knew I would never find a use for this bass other than it being a # in my collection. I am after NRs at the moment, the 200 bucks I made on it will come in handy. I am trying to be practical here.

I still admire him for talking his mother - an Auschwitz survivor - into those runes having of course nothing to do with the Third Reich at all. Talk about chuzpah!
