nobody home  yesterday so the bass showed up tonight (actually about 7 when i got home from work).  If anyone is ever moving I highly recommend Joe be hired to pack.....   Amazing job,  thanks for protecting my birthday present so well. 

First observations.  This bass is a very good clone of the 60's ampegs.  Some of the same faults but with a much better neck.  Hardware not as good as the originals.  Sound - (after Joe's pup changeout)  much better than the originals and very pbass like with little less mids....  Very different than the Bruce Johnson bass which really is trying to get a much more percussive double bass type vibe.  I just may have to do some Bad Company tunes this week.  Sorry never a big The Band fan as part of a setlist...
