I'm looking forward to seeing the Arcade Fire perform. I really like them for their.....uniqueness. Every live show I've seen from them on TV has been a very high energy performance.

Wow!!  High energy doesn't cover it!!  "....uniqueness" is well chosen!

I didn't know what to make of Arcade Fire - I can't really dislike a rowdy band with two violins, a bullhorn and a lady drumming while dressed kinda like an ee-gyp-shee-un, and I admire their ability to have two bicyclists circling the stage and not kill one with the boom camera, although it looked close a couple of times.  However, one number from them was plenty.  I feel like I watched a loud rock concert, car wreck and police car stop all in one number.

It figures...right after I post that, Album of the Year to "The Suburbs" by Arcade Fire.

Should we check Funk & Wagnall's back porch to see if any ballots are still in the mayonnaise jar?

They went up to play the last number, but no bullhorn this time!  Lotsa energy, tho.

Good Night, Lucy.

I can't believe that they won!! They are a good band (IMO) and use a lot of different instruments. I actually think Neon Bible is a better album, but whatever. Just glad something out of the norm won for a change.

Arcadia Fire sound like late eighties, early nineties Brit Pop to me, amazing they won!
