It's got a AAA Maple top, that's the reason I'm interested in adding yet another EB-3/SG-variation to my collection, other than the main attraction of course.....

But what I meant is: how thick is the maple?

On the Natural Supreme it is very thick. The body is half mahogany, half maple.
In this pic you can see it if you look closely at the sides

but it's hard to tell from the pics. From what I can make out I guess they're the same animal construction wise. Maybe Uwe knows for sure ? If not I'll get back to you once she's arrived .....

It's sandwich half/half and therefore not just cosmetic, but really a different sounding SG bass.
