Those folks from Markneukirchen ...
« on: January 19, 2011, 10:31:48 AM »
I haven't decided yet whether I personally like it, but some people sure will, a bit of Gibson EB-650 echo there, body could be a little thicker for my taste:

Anything's better than the typical Wankwick Warwick shapes. Somebody (Uwe?) said most Warwicks look like something that melted after being left on a radiator.

Oh yeah, still McLovin' the Blueshawk!

The shape reminds me of the Ripper & the single cut baby whale Ripper one off that Uwe owns

I'm liking that!!  I like the thin-bodied basses.  The point on the cutaway looks part Dean, part Ibanez.

This conversation is pointless, and you know it! :P

I've seen and played that bass and it's gorgeous. The normal doublecut Star Bass (now also in cheaper Korean version) has singlecoil pick ups, which sound enormous. This baby has humbuckers and it sounds HUGE! Both humbuckers can be switched to singlecoil by two push/pulls.
