I say "no" to reviving ancient extinct species.
« on: January 17, 2011, 07:09:44 AM »
While it's a fascinating idea, I think it should remain that. Who knows what kind of bugs are lurking around in a thousands-year old corpse?

Uhum, didn't that go terribly wrong in Jurassic Park once before?

They should ask Jeff Goldblum first.

And I think it should be tested on an island that has had some type of experience with alien species whether they are aga toads, camels or rabbits. Australia needs mammoth herds. We then watch what happens.

If creationists and intelligent design people are right, then this will not work in any case and mammoths never existed or at least weren't saved on the Ark!

Or the dodo bird

What will one do with a mammoth?

$100 a head to see it. Or very expensive mammoth sushi.

"Nature selected them for extinction."

Since this one is in front of a building, it wasn't exactly what I mean by "ancient"!

I didn't consider those might be his "dressing out" furs. Thanks for pointing that out. :)
