after looking at this pup all day i decided to research it and find out why it has two wires when Jules site shows a pup with 8 wires. (more coil taps on the bass pup)

this post from 2009 explains it i think. the two wire pup is from a Les Paul Low Z guitar.

there is a clip from Rob and i thought it sounded very righteous and seemed to present a hint more mids and highs IMHO. (thanks Rob)

upon comparing the casings the two wire is a lot smaller than the bass pup and the trim rings are not interchangable.

this is the way to go i believe, thanks again Jim.
I can be true to you sweety until I find a nice medium scale with great breasts. ... CW

In this pic you can clearly see the difference in size between a bass Lo-Z pickup (neck) and a guitar Lo-Z pickup (bridge)

Huh?  :o Rob, when did you put those pups in your Pearl (hidden Epi) bass, Rob? Looiks terrific! How do they sound? The original pups on those are bark monsters, but not very detailed.

Haha, you should look over the fence more often Uwe!
There's lots of interesting stuff going on the in the "Projects, Mods and Repair" corner.

The Gibsonized Pearl was done (and posted) exactly two years ago:

Or maybe denying he needs glasses when he tries to read the newspaper, so he puts it on the floor?

And now contemplating if he should go for multi-focals straight away because he can't really see if the paper's on the floor or not ........

You know what's sad? Look up a Marvel character called "Cannonball." You'll find the connection when you do. Please don't ask me to explain further.  I, for one, am very happy that Marvel's "Civil War" has ended.

I found this:

Finally, a masochist martyr among the superheroes, you live and learn. Bit Wolverinish.

But how does Cannonball fit in? Or do you mean Speedball?

Highlander

That caused me to wander off... I have been trying to find the name of a short run that came out late 60's early 70's that was very Phillip K Dick - and android/cyborg in red clothing that thought it/he was human... just can't find it - something I was loaned by a cousin whilst up in Scotland at the time - my cousin has absolutely no idea what I'm on about (no jokes about some things haven't changed, pur-lease... :P)
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
