Hey Dave.......... had enough snow??

I haven't had time to watch the news to see how much snow we've gotten today, but this is the biggest workout my snow blower has had since I bought it about five years ago. Time to call it a day & have a beer, (Dragon's Milk), mmm tasty!

Hang in there and stay warm!!

Weather is really spotty around the country this time of year.  Denver is supposed to be in the high 60's Monday and Tuesday.

You mean it's over already?  ;)

Fierce but not as bad as 1991. Snow thrower did get a workout today. Thanks to the wind and the drifting, will have to more tomorrow. And the plows will be by again. But I'm warm and dry.

Mid 60s here for a high today down to  low of 29 tonight; 20, 22 Monday and Tuesday.  Normal low for this time of year is 45, high 69.  Most of my neighbors never open their windows and and run their A/C or heat 365 days a year.

Same storm hitting Chicago right now. 7-10 inches predicted. Subaru weather yeah!

We had less than 20 inches of snow, but it was enough to collapse the Metrodome..........

The Halloween storm of 1991 was about 28 inches, but being almost 20 years younger, it didn't seem so bad. It was also warmer than it is now.........  8)
The snow plow just came by for the third time so back to shoveling.  >:(

The Halloween storm of 1991 was much worse for plowing and getting around afterward, not to mention shoveling. Then because it was so early in the season, the melting and refreezing left us with many patches of black ice on the freeways all winter.

She loves cold weather, plunging her face into the fresh snow etc. But she's old and lame, she can't power her way through drifts like a young dog.

THAT is pure upper-midwestern humor!  But the fact that Dave could locate that cut concerns me....shows early symptoms of cabin fever.  :o

The spot the dog in the snow storm vid... the person who posted it noted that when it was made they had 54" in 48 hours... :o :o :o

(whoah, am I glad for the gulfstream)

We are geographically so much further north than most of the US states and we just do not get the weather changes you people get...

Ain't winter a blast?  5 hours of snow blowing and shoveling for me today.  After the plows came through it was waist high.

My late Father-In-Law was a long time employee of WTCN / KARE 11 and worked with Roger Awsumb through the entire run of the show I believe.  He ran the hand crank for the birthday list at the end of every show. When the show ended, Casey gave my wife his railroad jacket, (long before we were married). Here is an signed picture to my wife just before his passing, he recalled giving her something, but thought it was his overalls...
