It's a seasonal song, right?

Actually, when I returned from Africa to Germany in early 1976, I caught a light pneumonia. So spending a lot of time in bed in January, I listened to the radio and two songs struck me especially: One was Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and the other Sweet's The Lies in your eyes.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

OK so Terr, d' ya mean winter or Christmas songs because this thread is confusin' my frac to bunt brain cells. Christmas is very obviously Summer right? Prawns, Lobster season, BBQ's, Beers around the pool before a quick dip and then into the aircon to watch the Boxing day Test match at the MCG etc. Makes complete sense.

Here is a classic Aussie glam band song I relate to Christmas.

Digresion our specialty!

I always loved listening to "Songs From The Wood" album during winter.

"Another Christmas Song" is also a good one.

Their version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is a nice one.

Although it's a little late in the year, I always loved listening to Deep Purple in the autumn when the leaves are falling. For some reason I can't really explain it just seems right.
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Tiran Porter playing a slot-head EB3 - nice close-up at about 4.50 and a great solo from Tom Johnston

Clear As The Driven Snow...

truly beautiful number
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

These are all fun. I forgot about the Kinks one, and never heard the Sweet tune.  The Tull stuff is interesting, as I did not listen to the Christmas ones at Christmas, because I bought them years after they came out.  This is one that I remember, and bought the 45.  This was a fun "almost" band.

Model One and Schallers?  Ish.
