Wins all the way around! fixing it would be cool, more than worth it just for the parts too.

Anything is fixable, this one definitely.  The buggered truss rod just adds a degree of difficulty.  If I do strip it for the TBird parts I'll post what's left in the classifieds here first.

Are all Embassy necks multi laminate like this one?  I thought I recalled them being just Mahogany only.  Nice score BTW.

I've been out of town.  Nice grab!!!!  It even has most of the serial number still stamped in it.  I say go ahead and restore it, but watch the budget.  And, in my world, the Embassy has more cool points that the Thunderbird.  If the body is beyond reasonable repair stage, then you still got a great deal.  I'd also be interested in the carcass if you go that route.  My luthier can work miracles on a budget.  Witness what he did for my Magnatone Hurricane restoration.

Been wondering where you were Gary.  I can understand your affection for the Embassy, it's a rare bird.  Definitely repairable and it's possible the truss rod will function once the neck break is redone.  I'm going to wait until I finish other projects before I decide what to do with it.

Just saw those pics, Carlo. I agree that it should be fixed if possible. That thing is a beauty!!!
