Yup, that's one of those "funny when no one gets hurt" deals.

Those are 12,000-volt power lines so it is darn lucky no one got nailed by one of them.

Was it just me or did the smokestack seem to bobble in the right direction before it fell backwards?

They're saying that there were some undiscovered cracks in the opposite side of the chimney which failed and shifted it the wrong way.

Glad they weren't standing within 300 feet of it while making that observation....

It did seem to move one way for a second or two before falling a different way.
