Look, it was £41/$66... it was just crying out for a buyer...

"Not Working" was in the text by the seller - quick inspection showed no wiring from the pots to the jack socket - might have something to do with it...

Neck is scarfed - actually feels quite nice, Jazz like... bolt on... - bridge needs to be moved 1/4" further back as the E wrapping is sitting on the saddle - I'll report back when I get her working... some time next summer, knowing my pace of work... :P

If the neck's good and it looks okay otherwise, hard to go wrong at that price.

I would say a decent set of tuners, electronics hardware and 2 pups is worth $66, you could burn the rest to keep the shed warm if need be.

Vee shape + MM pups = my nightmare. But for the money, even I could have bought that! :P

Now you just need four cans of Aquanet hairspray, a rack setup, and a coke habit. VH-1 will come rabidly knocking at your door to find out what band you were in so that they can talk about how much of an impact you had on pop music and culture. You should really milk this thing.

I've no idea, Bryan... the seller calls themselves "GEAR4MUSIC" which is what is on the head (going to go)... She's almost certainly of Chinese origin... the more I've been messing with her the more I like the neck... I think it may just be oiled... really quite fast... I just need to wire up - the pups are humbuckers with a four-core cable - the pots are minis - and it has one of those odd flat things attached to one of them - that'll probably have to go...

There's a perverse part of me that's thinking... fretless V... :o got to find out what the sound is like first...

If you slay any goats with it, remember to clean the neck before playing.  Messy otherwise.
