Is that Walnut?  That's a beautiful guitar.
I hope the guys from Incubus don't see this....they'll now have a way to scratch and play at the same time.

Looks like mahogany to me.

EDIT: I've looked it up it is quarter sawn Khaya Mahogany.
Neck is mahogany and ebony fingerboard.

If I was a guitarist, I'd invest in something with P-90s... Love that sound.

Nice lookin' wood on that one, and the satin finish really complements it.

That's a cool idea re: the LP for a pickguard.  They sure got a clean route there at the neck pickup- the label still looks perfect around the edges of the cut!

Is that a P-90 or a Jazzmaster pickup?  I can never tell.
The more I look at this guitar, the more I really like it.

That one's either a P-90 or P-100 (stacked humbucker), or some variation of those (not sure how to tell from the outside)

Philips... Dutch company, right...?

Nice idea but the cut by the bridge looks like they missed the position of the pup...

Philips actually had a big record company.

I like the shape at the pickup. Sort of an inverted shadow.

Cool idea but Philips label is kinda dull. How about a Vertigo (spiral or spaceship), Charisma (mad hatter) or Harvest? Record collectors would probably kill you at the gig...;)

Beautiful khaya Tele.

There are probably still a millions or more 78s out there, most obscure and unwanted. No shortage of interesting labels.

That would go well on a Stingray

Would a picture disc be a silly idea - I had the Zevon Werewolves 12" for a while that would have been pretty good - still have quite a few - faves a Ghostbusters 12" single
