A 1:1 scale model kit!!!

Imminent releases: a Mitsubishi Zeke (Zero) and a Messerschmidt BF-109, collect them all!!!

Actually, there is German company that applies the same principle to Focke-Wulf 190ies.

I'm always having trouble applying the 8ft waterslide decals.

Suspending the Spitfire above the battle scene diorama is tricky as well.

my son has a pilot's licence and used to have a plane. one day he loaned it to friend/mechanic to fly and the front landing gear failed to open all the way on landing. result was a righteous prop plant. engine and all other destroyed parts were replaced by insurance but he kind of lost interest after that. he became a competion bicycle racer. kids!

Armchair pilot with a preference for seaplanes, although I'm quite keen on the present "Typhoon" and the F86 - there are some pretty good terrain models these days...

That company (I think) was featured in a series called "By Any Means" - I'm a purist when it comes to such things and there just is nothing quite like a Merlin or a Griffin at full throttle... 8)

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I am an ATP and flew for almost 20 years, with 7000 hrs. I still own a Helio Courier H391b, although flying over Texas just does not inspire me at all. Have not flown in well over a year. I would trade almost all of it in a heartbeat for a checkout in a REAL Spit. By that I mean eliptical wings and a turtledeck!

Man...My Dad is a CFI and I've gone up a few times...never had the money to learn how to fly...YET!!! I'd love to flyin a Spitfire orbetter yet.. A P-51 Mustang!!!!! But seriously. I'd be happy with a Cessna Birddog. Or even a Piper L-4

I picked up my private license in the early '70s.  I trained on Aeronca Champs, Piper Cherokees, and Cessna 150 and 172.  I realized while going for my commercial rating that I really didn't want to be a professional pilot.
