If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Tried to catch the Allman Bros. a few times when Duane was still with us.
By the time I finally got to see 'em he was gone & so was Berry!! Alas
Wish there was more footage of 'em. HDA "Skydog" RIP

Bought the book SKYDOG today. Thot I knew all about Duane & the ABB but I'm learning a few things.
Highly recommended.

I wanna hear everything Duane did with D&B!!!!!!

Highlander

one LP and an otherwise unavailable track on the 2nd Duane Allman compilation - "come on in my kitchen" -  it was a radio broadcast but never found it so might be a one off track or a whole session - the stuff they did with EC is worth a dip too...

Hornisse

The Layla record is terrific.  I just listened to it the other day.

Muzikman7

I just got done listening to Memory of Elizabeth Reed, its too bad there wasn't any footage taken of one of the few times Duane played with Derek & The Dominos. R.I.P. Duane

Highlander

I've never been sure that that was not an urban myth - I've heard he played with them at least three times but never found confirmation, let alone a recording; and every year they seem to turn up another gig with ABB that he's on - the three Fillmore sets are probably still the best overall perfomances (of those I've now got - still a few missing) with them truly on form...
