Anyone else excited to watch this?

Kind of like 28 Days Later, made from the Image Comic book

I just love Zombie movies, always have.

We're going to watch it, but my wife has stated that zombies are basically boring.  Now, 30 Days of Night was a real horror film!

I find Zombie movies boring, but this one looks a bit more interesting than most.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Zombies creep me out. Must be my fear of being eaten.  :P

That looks pretty awesome though. And it's a series?

As Joe Bob Briggs would say....

Looks like good potential for: Zombie fu; Explosion fu; Gun fu; Gore fu

I'm not a zombie movie fan, but this could be fun.  Reminds me of the series Justified, but with Zombies.

I'm not watching any more movies involving zombies or vampires, the genre has been done death (I know sorry)

Nocturnal

I am SOOOO looking forward to this series! Can't wait for Sunday night. I love horror movies, even bad ones. I'll take this over 'The Real Housewives' zombies any day.

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Nope no gig ! And that's fine with me  :)

Got a very good review-

QuoteThe special effects here are spectacular. Even if you don't care about the characters, you'll be awed by the extras — faces half missing, entrails spilling out, limping and groaning.

I find it funny that you say that because that is pretty much what my drawing teacher said. He is a traditional artist and will occasionally go to the comic book store up the street every now and then. He went over summer and the guy there told him that he really needed to check out the first issue of The Walking Dead. My teacher was hesitant specifically because he is tired of the whole zombie thing. He thought the first issue was all right and the guy at the comic book store said something along the lines of "no, you just didn't have enough time to get to know the characters." So my teacher got issue 2 and was completely blown away and had his aid take both issues back to exchange for the first book.

To add to that, he mentioned 30 Days of Night at the same time. He saw the comic books before the rights to a movie were sold, thought it was brilliant and was kicking himself for not coming up with the idea.
There are many in this world that call me Darrol, feel free to be apart of that group.

The 30 Days of Night Comics are much better than the movie.
