VERY cheap in England from what I hear. Coupla hundred pounds.

Not that cheap anymore, and not so common, the 100w is more common. But in either case it's been known for MusicGround to buy them, convert them up to full DR201 spec using their own parts, fake spec panel on the back & whack em out for full DR201 prices. It's all well-documented on Plexi-Palace.
But IF I do ever see one on Ebay UK I'll give you a heads-up Scott.

Pretty good, mega busy on the Xmas rush to get CDs into stores. btw, black paint is allowed if you want to on your cab; that used to be Nomis's job on Slade's Hiwatts.

lol I am going to brake out the black paint just no time yet!

FYI-One trick that works well on Hiwatts is a can of "wrinkle" finish black that is available at your local speed shop or auto parts store. Follow the directions, feather the edges where the tolex ends and you should be golden. One whole rear edge of my 4x12 is done this way.

Still looks suitably disgusting and relic'd... 8) 8) 8)

They even match up height-wise - what more could a guy ask for...

Some basket weave for that 4x12 would be matchy-matchy cool. Or some coffee/tea soaking..!

For now I am going to leave the grills alone. I like the weave on the SE4123 better than whats on the 2150, my old 2150 had the gray/white weave. I usualy have another head on stage, for this gig I left it locked in the van, I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Firstly, as we all know, the single 201 can drive the whole rig ;D
Second, using one head allows you to drive the head a bit more, and get that nice power tube"Fur" that I like sooo much!!
You gonna match the basketweave to the salt and peppah?

I'm torn about the basket weave. I like the salt and pepper but I like to leave stuff original so it will most likely stay as is. I am on the look out for another SE4123 and another 2150. I have a Sound City 200 Plus that I can run extra cabs with and it's a close enough cousin to the DR201. I also have a 80's Hiwatt Bass 100 I use. Sometime I'd like another DR201. Then I think I'm all set.  ;D
