Actually had a few minutes to tinker this weekend and solve a problem I had with the Hofner.  Because it's actually a Hofner bass neck, but the body is from a Committee guitar, I had some issues with clearance on the top.  The arch on the top is very high and really was meant for a non-electric guitar.  So, I had to counter sink the pups.  Got the router out, made a template, cut my holes and installed some brackets inside.  Turned out great!  Next, I'll drill the tuner holes and put it on the S&S pile.

Those pickups are pretty darn close together!

You surely had a reason for using two r/than one.....?

Yep, I was thinking Allen Woody but moved down form the neck a bit.  I've got plenty of thumpy basses already.  Also, the control panel has capacity for 2, so I decided what the hell!
