This thing is crazy! I think it's an '80s, made in San Dimas, California. It's heavy too.

The finish reminds me of the piezo Gibson Explorer Bass of the same era. More likely that the Charvel finish influenced the Gibson, but it could be the other way around. We'd have to know the production dates.

I'm going to put myself out on a limb here........

That is F&%$#*@ COOL!

Looks like they want about $1600.00 for it too.

Yep, Harry's!

I think the price on it is $1495. I go in there so often, I MIGHT be able to get a better deal if anyone is interested.

Someone better grab it before the guy from Steel Panther sees it!

BTW, San Dimas is the hometown in the 'Bill and Ted' movies. I don't think that choice was an accident. I would LOVE That bass if I had the space and money.

It is a fun 80s thing.  The paint job nails it.

I kind of get the San Dimas mystique, but for a bass the Japanese ones were built really well and sometimes they can't get $250 for one.  The old bodies and necks were Boogie typically too, so I would have to have find a real good reason to want one.

The Japanese ones are fine but they don't bring much because they're so out of style. At the asking price for this one, it's almost all the San Dimas mystique, because it sure wouldn't bring that much based on the appearance.

Wayne did make some of his own bodies but you're right, it could be Boogie -- or even Schecter.

That is pretty cool for a 80's bass. I like my Hamer blitz for 499.00 a whole lot better  ;D
