My girlfriend told me that if I never gave her crap about her shoe fetish she'd never give me crap about the basses or the motorcycles. We both win!

Just be careful with those damn shoes!  It was back in '02 and I went into the shoe storage vault, otherwise know as the closet, and I must have bumped something - 400 pairs of shoes avalanched onto me!  I lost damn near 10lbs before they dug me out of the pile

I have asked that. My wife likes to point out that none of her shoes cost what I usually spend on any given bass. I hate it when she makes a good point. 

You should see the boots she buys.   
Hey and I don't leave my new basses unused in a closet and then throw them away after a year or so... because they're "not me"
