These are amazing basses for the money.  I still can't believe I have one!  Does anyone know how many of the original 50 people on the original list have gotten one?

Bass VI, mine took 6 days to arrive once it left Czech Republic.

I'd be interested finding that out also, on Robs' original e-mail list my name was #10, but I was pretty late to the party in receiving mine ( snafu with criss-crossed emails ) actually it's worked out better for me getting a black one, a color not available in the first run.

Let you guys know when it arrives,

I'm not sure which names on the list haven't received their BaCHbird yet.
Not all candidates are from the Outpost. Some don't even frequent any of the boards that I recruted from.
Originally there were 59 basses ordered. Some names dropped out along the way. And some names were added, once the first basses were showing up.
As far as I know BaCH only made 50 BaCHbirds (20 in the first run and 30 in the second)

Geez Eric, I don't know what to say. Congrats or I'm sorry.
It must be really frustrating to know your BaCHbird is there, but you cannot touch it...yet

Congratusorry?  Sorryatations?

Yes, very frustrating.  They say that patience is a virtue, but I say "screw that" (I've never been a very virtuous person)!

I was wondering how many were made. Are they serial numbered? I saw a comment about early thick-bodied ones and later thin-bodied ones, but are the thick ones the first 20?

Jeez how hard can it be:
20 first run (thick body white finish)
30 second run (thinner body, 10 white, 10 black 10 sonic blue)
None were numbered

Well I can only hope this means Mr. Postman will have a package for me tomorrow, for once I'm looking forward to going to work. That's not entirely correct for the most part I don't mind going to work, except when there is to much work involved, man I'm still a slacker!

Let you know tomorrow!

Ok, gotta go, I'm already doing some mods ( not that it needs any ) let's say I'm personalizing it. Pics soon.

And Thanks Rob!

I may possibly be the only person with one that has left it bone stock. :)

I will leave it stock too, except of the addition of some good pots (cts) jack (crl) and cap (.1 mallory 150 film).

Mine is still just as it came out of the box.  I plan on putting my old Gibson pickup in it, but other than that, I love it just as it is.

Mine is still stock. Only thing I plan on changing is the pots first, then the pickguard. After that I will probably leave it alone.
