Curious what you find when you look...

With Mark Farner (Ringo's 3rd All-Starr) covering "I'm Your Captain/Closer To Home" (green Buzzard)

I had forgotten about this cover...

There was a short lived 1990 band called "The Best" and a DVD was issued... with Keith Emerson, Skunk Baxter (slick solo), Joe Walsh and Simon Philips - quite a bit of the DVD can be found if you search covering all sorts - shame it failed to happen, there's some really good stuff on it...

What else is there to find...?

The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Wait a Minute!  I was in 'The Best' in Hollywood in 1977.  I'm suing!

hollywood florida?
CaliforniA.  The Masque was THE major punk club.  We were not punk, I don't know how we got booked in there.  The Whisky A Go Go was our main gig, in large part because I was the sound man there.

John singing "Too Late The Hero" makes me kinda sad, although it's a great song.

Re: Skunk Baxter. Why's he sitting down? Was that usual when he played?
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

I've spied him gettin' around in some clips, but yeah - he mostly subscribes to the Fripp/Hackett school of stage antics.  Great player, though!

(bonus footage of Becker's Tbird in that clip too!)

Cool!

I think Entwistle sounded great with P and Hiwatt. I also love the fatter T-bird and Alembic sound. I didn't like the newer trebly sound of the Buzzards first, but I have to say I got used to it and I quite like it now. The first vid is very recognizable 'later period' Entwistle. Always nice to recognize a sound.

What about this one: Quite rare footage of an 8-string Buzzard:

Or with his Alembic 4-string:
