I had brats tonight!

Sorry, I wouldn't know Apollonia or Sheila E. if they bumped into me in Walmart or anywhere else. I've heard their names and know they were associated with Prince. His music is not my kind of music, to put it mildly.

He's gonna play Musicman SUBs again ...

That's short for SUB zero. Perfect for a Minnesota winter.  :P

Most of our guitars may be "Minnesota Mint"! but the extreme cold kills off any fungus.................  :P

Funny, last weekend I mowed over a mushroom that blew spores all over the place, and the first thing I though of was Uwe's fungubass.  ;D

Lightyear

How long will it take you to start talking like the locals? ;D

This will help you initiate the necessary identification measures once you see them at the meat counter at Walmart, Minnesota man:

Apollonia:

Sex cymbal Sheila E:

They've both aged gracefully:

Wal-mart is hiring greeters?

In all fairness, isn't Dave a little grouchy for that?  ;D

Uwe, they call them "greeters" but thier primary function is loss control and shopping cart management. No need for cheerfullness.

Congrats on the move, Dave. I couldn't do it. Hell, I couldn't go to Canada to avoid the draft.

Well, when it comes to intimidating people in a subtle way, Dave is on home turf! When did we have the last free discussion here about how nitro fins sound better on basses because the wood breathes more easily through them?  :o :o :o :o See what I mean?

Just because I defend Walmart doesn't mean I shop there often.  The nearest one isn't very convenient to me anyway.

(There goes another keyboard... Merlot, this time...)

Only ever been in one Walmart ("Gee, are you from England...?" - our USofA family reunion in '03) - went over with 2 cases - came back with FIVE... we probably could have filled one of them with the Hershey's Kisses we took home but for weight reasons we had to balance out the loading... :o I still regularily wear my (made in Pakistan) official UK Wildcats shirt...

You're going to miss the summers!  Looks like the forecast for NB is 99 today and 102 tomorrow - what's not to like about that?  :P

Hornisse

Not as bad as last summer's nearly 70 days of 100 degree weather.  I work outdoors so I'm used to it.  Hard to believe we had snow in February!

After last summer, I've gone from accommodating hot weather to actively disliking it.
