does anybody know if these are the same pickups used in the RD bass.  They look the same and fit the rd pickguard but what about the insides.  Blade or poles  etc.....

i am about to start a ripper rebuild and the pickups are toasted.  these might work or i have always had GAS for an RD.  that might be a doable build for me as the body is not very detailed.

I Xrayed a damaged Artist pup prior to stripping the plastic to fit inside a T'bird cover... looks like a bar...

The pup was mounted in the neck position in my mahogany Peter Cook (run passively) and sounds great - I can't answer the question of the guitar/bass same pup scenario, though... any idea on the resistance - not on the listing...

You'll find the pics in my (stalled) rebuild thread...

I never saw a pickup like that on any Marauder (not that I've seen that many in person). The Marauder had a humbucker with exposed poles at the neck and a slanted single coil blade at the bridge.

Whatever these were intended for, if they're guitar pickups then they'll almost surely be standard guitar humbucker size.

i thought the same.. i remember the marauder with a exposed HB and a  single coil.  i assumed Great dealz knew what they were talking about as they seem to be the best obscure vintage gibson part dealer  of the bay...

Thats the pickup from an L-6S deluxe (not the Custom, they were chrome) - so, no not the same as an RD Artist. Although I am not sure how different.

I have one in my parts drawer

Pickup resistance 6.36k

Dimensions 73mm x 41mm x 19.3mm
hole to hole 79mm
surround 93mm x 54mm (widest)

Those look like regular guitar humbucker dimensions. No surprise.
