I never thought that the mere combination of the name of a tiny River named Düssel and the German word for village (Dorf) would incite so much unadulterated amusement here!!!

Very nice photos herr moderator! But I think you should put golden pickup rings and 3-way tip, or maybe black (to go with the big screws of the bridge). Those cream ones look kinda out of place.

... was one of the better places to be in spring 1945, resistance groups negotiated a truce behind the back of the Nazis with the US Forces surrounding the city, a final bombing raid was thus averted and the city gave up on April 17, 1945 without a fight, igonoring Nazi evacuation and scorched earth orders:
