With the Euro down almost to the American Peso, its not a bad BIN for a ultra rare black plastic pickup version.

The neck looks / headstock look OK. Wonder about the paint?

Too bad he doesn't know how to take good quality photos. The graininess on the butt end looks like it could be an overspray.

I believe that seller is Idris who advertises on my sites (gibsonbassstore)

he's got quite a few very nice Gibsons, some of which he is keeping and some of which he is selling... i've been meaning to visit him and take some pics, but haven't got round to it yet. He has some very nice gear.

Yeah exchange rates change everything don't they  >:(

Considering the dollar/pound exchange rate, he'll come out ahead if he gets his BIN.

He couldn't even take new pics.  ???

Looks like at least a partial refin to me, esp the shot of the heel which shows some wavy paint on the back.  Also on the front, a hole is filled above E string where the handrest was removed.

it's certainly had some work done on the headstock overlay too - look at the serial number
