This is supposed to be 1972, so possibly Peter Cook built...

Joe If I remember right there's a good photo or two in the OX's Bass book w/ all his other Guitars & Basses , I have the book but left it at a friends home out of state last month otherwise I'd try scanning it ,

It is in his book with some good pics. That book is somewhere in a box, but I'll try to find it. If I remember correctly it was given to him by a friend when his son Christopher was born. The pick up looks like a Burns one and Entwistle liked it.

I guess Epiphone saw it too and made the Mandobird? :)

Awesome guys!!! I'd love to get pics from you! Thanks!

Abebooks is a good site to look for a copy if you want your own... this is a USA link to the cheapest copy presently available... about 6 on sale...

I've had some really good luck with Abebooks - for hard-to-find stuff they are usually cheaper than Ebay and Amazon. Often quite a bit cheaper.

The mini-bird is fun, but think about what that little guy must look like now.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

Another good word for Abebooks. I've bought several books from them over the years and they've always been great to deal with.

Christopher Entwistle is on the Amazing Journey DVD!

I wondered the same thing!

The pics in the Bass Collection book are much better. Some good close ups. Unfortunately my book is somewhere stored in a box for a couple of weeks. Anyone else who can make a scan?

Cool pic! The orange Fenderbird sitting next to a Ric lightshow.... drool....

I have the book, but my scanner is outdated and won't work with either of my new computers.  :-[
