Pretty solid list of bar covers. I'd personally move a couple around as far as order - such as following Crazy Bitch with Ride a Horse rather than Thunderstruck - but other than tweaks like that you should be fine!

I'll have to post the country band set list to give you an idea of the contrast.  These kids in this new band are fast, but very green and rough at the edges.  The enthusiasm is going to have to carry things far enough to get past the fact that the guitarist is still working from tabs.  He can play, but hasn't got enough miles under his belt to fly completely solo.  Our singer, the diva, is in the driver's seat for this one.

I'm with ya, Gweimer.  Here's my band's most recent set list....it also makes Mark's list pretty contemporary:

1st Set:

Walk Don't Run - (Written in 1955, made famous by the Ventures in 1960)
Pipeline / Baja - (Chantays 1962; Astronauts 1963 – Lee Hazlewood wrote the 2nd number, Baja)
Ft. Swing - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Apache - (Written by Jerry Jordan, inspired by 1954 Burt Lancaster film Apache; British group The Shadows, 1960)
Jack the Ripper - (Link Wray, 1961)
Runaway - (Dion and the Belmonts, 1961)
Malibu Blue - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Green Onions -  (Booker T, 1962)
Sleepwalk - Santo & Johnny Farina from Brooklyn – went #1 in 1959.
Wipe Out - (Surfaris, 1962)

2nd Set:

James Bond Theme/Secret Agent Man - (John Barry arranged Monty Norman's 1962 composition – guitarist Vick Flick also played guitar on the famous TV series The Prisoner.  Johnny Rivers made the second number famous in 1963 with his live recording at the Whiskey-a-Go-Go in Los Angeles - it was the theme from the British TV series Danger Man)
Penetration - (The Pyramids, released as a single in 1963, hit the top 20 in 1964)
For Jessica -  (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Time is Tight - (Booker T, 1969)
Fat Dog Walking - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Telstar – (1962, released by the British group the Tornadoes 5 weeks after the world's first communications satellite went into orbit. Recorded with a unique keyboard called a clavioline, sold at least 5 million copies.)
Wild Weekend - Written and recorded by the Rockin' Rebels, it was originally the theme for a radio show in New York, released nationally in 1963.)
Stray Cat Strut (1981, Stray Cats)

I'll bet nobody else on this forum has Telstar in their music list!

yeah, the boys keep telling me the same thing  ;D

Even funnier is the fact that the originals have a distinctive CCR sound to them.
