Sixty degrees outside, most beautiful day we've had in four months and I have a nasty cold...feel like someone beat me with a stick.  Fought it off for three days but it nailed me today.

And I was hoping to play 9 holes today....couldn't even hold a club that long.  Had to cancel a dinner invitation with a prospective drummer and his wife, too.

Hopefully better tomorrow.  For now, holed up watching westerns on satellite TV.

Nothing quite as bad as "MAN-FLU"... barely cureable...  ;)

Recommend a "Hot-Toddy", with extra malt whisky...  ;D

Just finished The Misfits with Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe (and a very young Eli Wallach) which I had never seen before.

Now watching Dragnet with Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks.  Love intellectual humor.

I got hit with a horrible flu.  Had been to the hospital, and in bed for 3 days straight.  Weight loss is a positive side effect though.

Dan Akroyd's take on Jack Webb was fantastic, and better than the rest of the movie.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

I'm hoping to rally soon.  Now watching Inglorious Basterds after catching the last half of Happy Gilmore.  May crash after that.

Sorry to hear that Pilgrim, get well soon.
It hit me 2 weeks ago. I'm just about over it now, but it caused me to get infections in both ears and I've been almost completely deaf for 2 weeks. My hearing is still very diminished but it is finally improving. A few more days and hopefully I'll be back to normal.

With this and other issues I've been sick almost constantly since the beginnig of December.

Somewhat better today - at least my head doesn't feel like it's stuffed full of cotton.  Changed the intake air box thermostat on my wife's BMW and will get out for a walk.

Flu stricken here as well, finally pulling through.

Woke up last Thursday morning with an irritated throat and figured I'd just slept funny or with my mouth open. Throat still hurts, now I feel like I have cotton in my ears. Somehow I feel this is a downward slide into a cold or something.

Is that swine flu you guys are belatedly getting? I had that in November and it hit me hard, but comparatively short. I was in high fewer for about 36 hours and then felt chewed and spat out for a couple of days, but that was it.

Not swine flu, but some incredibly congesting and persistent colds are circulating here.  The guy across the hall and i have both been coughing for more than a month.

Mine was stomach flu, that good old yankee cooking did me in, or it was the parasite?

nofi

ha, you guys sound like my dad and he is 86. be thankful because it could always be something worse. ;)

Koff, koff, hork, hork.
