Nope. Not unless he finds someone who has the same Epiphone/Peavey vision he had. He's better off selling the parts separately.

funny i've been wanting to put T-4o pups in a ripper since i got my 76. so far i have 1 t40 pup but i want an ebony board "Gibson" ripper

I doubt it will sound even the slightest bit different!    If it were a Gibson body made of alder and set neck, yes, but Epis are maple bodies with a bolt on construction. Not sure whether a Peavey body is always maple (mine looks and feels more like heavy ash), but the difference in sound between maple and heavy ash is barely noticeable.

It'll just look different.
