If this is an original cardinal red and the headstock is unbroken, then she's indeed something we haven't seen for a long time and in excellent condition.
Can't be from 65 though, that was still the rev era.

I bet I could sell my all my basses and not have enough to snag this one. I'm curious to see what it eventually goes for. I think in the past year it's only the third NR I've seen on eBay, and one of those was pretty mangled and still went for almost $2k.

It'll be interesting to see what it goes for in this economic climate. I know of a burst IV in equal condition that went for $8000 about three years ago, so we'll see. This one being a rare color is one up on that one though.

I read over on Jules site that Glen Cornick's NR Thunderbird he had when he played with Wild Turkey was one of the metallic green ones. That HAS to be rare! Does a breakdown on colors for the NRs exist?
