Now I wanna see The Expendables.

My son saw it being a fan of some of them. He it it sucked big time, but not in a good way- not enough action, low budget effects, horrible dialogue & story written by Stallone.

High Water is a very well filmed SURF movie; saw it today.
Lots of footage of the North Shore of Oahu. I used to live there in the 70s & watch the surf & surfers a lot so this film is extra special for me.

Anybody keen to see Buried?  The entire movie is filmed inside a coffin, where a US contractor in Iraq is buried alive by some band guys, with just a cell phone and a cigarette lighter for company.

We went to see The Town last night, the Ben Affleck directed bank robber movie starring himself and Jon Hamm (the dude from Mad Men).  Started off good, but eventually descended into an unrealistic storyline.  Lots of guns and a car chase or two, so as an action flick it's reasonable.
Cheers

Saw it a few years ago.  I agree, sad but at least he got to do it one more time!

If you're into the Dolls, check out 'All Dolled Up', shot in their heyday.  It's streaming on Netflix.

Screened in the UK some years back - truly something sad to behold... anyone ever had the Killer Kane Band ep...? I have it somewhere but it's in my loft - a bit of a black hole is that place - the vocalist went on to notoriety...
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

i've seen the dolls twice in their prime  and nothing i have listened to so far has done their live show justice. yet another band that didn't translate well to records.

'All Dolled Up' was compiled by Bob Gruen from 30 hours of gigs, interviews and general Doll mayhem that he and his wife shot.  Definitely worth a look.

Sounds like a MUST-SEE to me!

I've heard that Helen Mirren steals the show.

Saw RED last weekend - it was a hoot!  Highly recommended.
