Are you losing sleep like me that you would be able to cross the street and walk past our beloved and benevolent Herr Moderatör and NOT recognize him unless you hear him mumbling something or other about finish not influencing sound? It's time to change that. Just a photoshopped pic with ZZ Top is not good enough I cry!!!

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

TBird1958

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

Oh for pity's sake...the pic i used for the ZZ Top funny was taken by my old buddy Jefferson K in front of Snake Eyes Vinyl in Austin last May. I don't always squint but the sun was bothering me (and despite what it looks like, I do have more than one tooth).

But I see myself more as the Mighty Favog from the Muppets Land of Gorch skits on the first season of Saturday night Live.

Actually, having met Dave, I'd say the second picture is slightly more accurate!

;D

I just thought of a good way to get back at you for that remark. I'll buy a certain CD by a certain phony "colonel" :-X  and force you to listen to it.

As the Mighty Favog would say, "It's gonna cost ya".  ;D

No, on second thought that would be cruel and unusual punishment.

Such youngish appearance!  :) My mental picture was more like this:

But with the spirit of this

One thing I have always admired about Dave was his attitude and fearless nature to cut the B.S. and give usually unbiased opinions (except for music genres), which like Steve, has not always been the best idea in some situations. Steve and Dave both have that not putting up with anyones attitude.

Only if you mess with him on Walmart, finish influencing sound, Che Guevara and Bill Wyman's bass lines!

The Mighty Favog from the Land of Gorch looks like Mr. Magoo. lol
I was actually more curious about the W.

He's been known to comment on kool-aid and Dark Stars...

;)

Yes, Dave has firm opinions on everything. And if he doesn't, then that is pretty much the most damning thing he can say about anything!  ;D

I really don't have any love for Walmart. It's just another place to shop. But I do have a problem with propagandists who want to subvert any discussion that mentions Walmart.

Same with Dark Stars. Not my sound, but nothing against 'em. Problem is, there are a handful of guys who propagandize for them as the answer to any and all problems.

I'm undecided about that.  ;D
