Congrats! Great shots. Is that a three point on that Embassy?  :o

Yeah, the Embassy has a 3-point bridge on it, but only has the two original mounting studs.  The front of the bridge is just resting on the wood.  That's the way it was when I bought it.  I suppose I'll eventually get around to fitting a proper 2-point bridge on there, but it works just fine the way it is now.  I have to admit I don't much like the looks of it myself.  Will probably fit a 2-point to the Greco at the same time I do the Embassy.  Has anyone had any luck buying the T-Bird bridges from Bach?

Now where can I get a proper stand for a Thunderbird?  ;D

You need a hanging/grab stand like the Hercules.

Lovely basses all!

I'd enjoy your opinion of the Greco vs that gorgeous '64 ( I'n soooooo jealous!) 'Bird.

Glad it went to a good home too  ;)

Thank you, sir!  I'll try to post my views once I get a little more playing time in with it.  I can tell you right now, the Greco neck is quite a bit wider at the nut than the Gibbo, which I'm not wild over, but it still feels OK.  Nice low action too.

That sounds like it would work well, although it would have to be about four feet tall!

Nocturnal

I have a couple of stands with the swivel bottom. Works great for T-birds.

The Hercules are height adjustable and hold Birds just fine.

Well, well... That sure is one nice collection! And congratulations to that Greco. Looks just fine! I hope you will give us your impression of the pickup too!

ramone57

nice basses!  as already mentioned, either the hercules or a swivel bottom stand will work just fine.

Cheaper than this one, and better knobs.

"Manufacturer: Ibanez for Greco"

NOT! Ibanez has never been a manufacturer. But we've been over this before.

You need to talk to Scott, aka God of Thunder, here - he makes a vastly improved two pointer that should drop right on to your studs.

As you can see in the headstock shot of the Greco, it's missing the tuner bushing for the E-string tuner.  Anybody have one they can part with?  The tuner shaft is 11.5mm, and the hole seems to be about 15mm.

OldManC

I have some Allparts tuners with bushings. Let me check tonight and see if they're the right size. If so I'll send you one.
