Grecos Rock! That's why Greco is makin' Zemaitises now.
I had a badass lefty Greco SG bass for awhile but gave it to my daughter Tara & she sold it like a dumbass.

Hahahaha! Don't sugarcoat it, tell us how you really feel!
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?

HER PUPS nail'em to the wall. There are two Greco T-Birds (no single pup models though) on the bay along with a "Z" Black Paul like creature. Search "greco bass"
I can be true to you sweety until I find a nice medium scale with great breasts. ... CW

Some of you may remember this bass, which is what brought me to the pit all those years ago (looking for info on it). I lost out on it in that auction but snagged it a few years later when that owner put it back up on eBay. I was a little disappointed when I got it because the seller claimed it had 60's bird pickups in it (and my bid at the time reflected that), but I found that they were most likely Grecos instead (same construction front and back). That disappointment disappeared the moment I plugged it in and really liked what I heard!

I love that bass. I think it makes more sense having the second pup at the neck rather than the bridge. Gotta get that "boom, boom, boom".  ;D

Bridge pups are for girls and otherwise disadvantaged. Real men have three neck pups.

Bridge pups are for those of us that want our individual notes to heard in big angry piano fashion  ;)

Of course, you - of all people - putting up a defense for the bridge pup proves my point, doesn't it?

So is anybody going to buy this thing? I'm starting to check my bank balances.

It's a pretty good price Ray, with shipping from Japan mine cost about that much 2-3 years ago.

I sent an email to the seller. This would be a great partner to my Orville. Still thinking about it though. Fraulein's about got me sold on it.

Go for it Ray.  I'd go check it out for you but things are pretty busy at work this week.  I'd buy it but I'm working on my rig at the moment.

Ray, if you get it I'll always be in the wings hoping for the timing to be right if you ever decide to sell.  With shipping from Japan I paid a little less for mine five years ago, but mine is a little beat up. That one looks really nice.

Pleasure - three unadulterated weeks, pretty much everything between Santiago and Southern Patagonia, we skipped the North this time, but might come back!
