Plus the hidden Epi secret: Fretboard access from the 15th fret onwards is much better than on the Gibbie Birds. You can actually do Glenn Hughes'ish stuff up there.

Glad you like it!
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Definitely a green eye issue over here in snowy Surrey...
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

15th fret? Is that somewhere up near the body?

A previous owner did the strap button relocation trick, but put it so hard up against the underside of the neck I can't find a strap that will go on it. Might try to live with the neck dive.

Band rehearsal last night. Also took the MIJ P, which is all black, so a bit of yin/yan there. It's an interesting comparison, the P seems to create it's own space, whereas the Epi kind of flows around and under. It would be easy to think it wasn't cutting through, but it's there all right. I played The Chain on both and the Epi won that contest. Definitely like it better than the Gibson IV, which I no longer have. I think I'm allergic to mahogany.
