Hi there. I think this is my first topicpost here on the outpost. But i've been an avid 'lurker' of the Gibson bass forum over here for quite some time. Anyhow....

I am looking for a tracing or a template of a G3 pickguard. I know you can order aftermarket pickguards on-line. But I want to fabricate a custom pickguard myself for an upcoming project. I bought a cheapo imitation Grabber> I wanna use it as a back up to my real Gibby G1.
But I have three G3 pup's. So I want to transform the knock-off G1 to a G3.

Can anyone hook me up?! Would be sweet!!

Hey, welcome aboard! I don't have a G3 but I'm sure someone who can help you out will be along shortly. It's always good to have more Gibson fans here.  ;)

I have a replacement G-3 pg with pups in my office and could make you a tracing or photocopy of it. The only issue is that I'm currently in Chile on holiday (currently in a small hotel by a lakeside in Pucon which has seen Queen Elizabeth, Neil Armstrong and James Stewart as guests) and won't be back in Germany before Jan 18. So if no-one can help you here until then, just revive this thread to remind me.
